Natalie Mering has been performing under the moniker Weyes Blood since the mid-aughts when she went solo after years spent in the noise and experimental rock scenes. Mering’s latest album Front Row Seat to Earth (Mexican Summer), fuses expansive electro-folk with dreamy vocals that recall ’70s songbirds. The result, modern with a twinge of nostalgia, is completely transporting.
