Film Focus: The Seven Year Itch

Happy first day of summer! For our latest peek behind the movies that made it into the current “Rough Cut” edition of Gather I offer you the trailer for The Seven Year Itch, the 1955 slapstick New York comedy starring the original blonde bombshell herself, Miss Marilyn Monroe. The film inspired our amuse bouche recipe for champagne onion dip and potato chips. Because as Monroe’s dizzy character herself exclaims, “a married man, air conditioning, Champagne and potato chips—it’s a wonderful party!”
