The Cold Breaker Cocktail

Cocktails & Beverages from Issue 10 – Winter 2017 – Sin

Two ingredients—a few spoonfuls of jam and a splash of beer—give this drink conjured up by Tania Garofalo, of Ribalta in New York and Atlanta, its gluttonous streak.

makes 1 cocktail

  • 2 bar spoons orange marmalade (we like St Dalfour’s Ginger & Orange, available at most supermarkets)
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • oz tequila
  • a splash of lager beer

  • Combine marmalade, juice, and tequila in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top off with beer.
