Zen and the art of cocktail sustenance.
Gather Journal Moment of Zen cocktailWe can always leave it to Larry David to decode the minutiae of annoying human behavior for our collective comic relief. One habit that proved so annoying to David that he felt the need to explore it on both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm was making exaggerated sounds while drinking: Elaine’s former roommate is a post-sip lip-smacker, while Jeff’s short-fused wife Susie adds a loud “ahh” after imbibing. But, be warned, vocal contentment may follow the consumption of this jasmine tea-laced sipper by Will Talbot at Top of the Standard; a sizzled sage leaf acts as crunchy garnish cum mini-amuse.
