The Meltdown Cocktail

Because with extreme stoner hunger, comes extreme thirst. Bryan Dayton, beverage director of Oak and Acorn in Aspen, CO, looked to the ice ages for inspiration for his aptly-named Meltdown cocktail, which leaves the slightest trace of herbs and honey.

serves 1 cocktail

  • 1 oz Żubrówka (Bison Grass vodka)
  • ¼ oz Strega liqueur
  • ¼ oz yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz Dolin Blanc vermouth
  • 2 drops orange bitters
  • lemon peel for garnish

    Pour all ingredients over a large piece of jagged ice. Stir and garnish with a lemon peel.
